Richard is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, where he specialized in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. Through his professional career, he has been engaged in every aspect of real estate, including valuation of existing assets, renovations of underperforming facilities, and the planning and development of new projects. His background and understanding of strategic objectives, economic realities, and on-going operations allows him to provide insight that can be relied upon while positioning projects for short- and long-term success.
As a Columbus resident and alum, saying Richard is an Ohio State fan would be an understatement – he once had a 15-year streak of attending every home football game. When he isn’t helping his clients realize their goals, he can be found playing tennis, working on home renovation projects, or attempting to become proficient in the culinary arts.
A graduate of the Kenan-Flagler undergraduate business school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Wilson has focused his professional career on planning and financing capital projects. He spent four years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch focused on commercial real estate underwriting and in the Sports Finance and Advisory Group in Washington, D.C. and Charlotte, North Carolina. Wilson then utilized that expertise to best position his non-profit and institutional clients while working for a national planning and advisory services firm with a focus on P3 transactions across the Southeast.
As a die-hard Tar Heel currently displaced in San Francisco, California, Wilson spends his free time exploring the West Coast with his wife, Anna, and their yellow lab, Birdie. An avid (bogey) golfer and sportsman, his best days outside the office are spent enjoying the outdoors.
